The cartographer has not opened the journal yet. The first entry is written after the first march.
Holding $TERRA is a vote: your weight is your balance at one random moment of the day, capped at 1% of supply. Burning $TERRA adds weight on top, and the burn is permanent.
One entry a day, written after the march: the weather, the ground the party crossed, what it saw. Every entry carries the day's engraving and the hash the keeper put on chain.
The journal opens with the first march.
Common ground is named by the cartographer. A rare or legendary find goes to auction, and whoever wins it names it and is minted the map sheet.
Nothing found yet.
A name auction is settled in burned $TERRA. The highest burn names the place, up to 24 characters, and the name stays on the chart for good.
No auction is open. One opens the moment the party finds something rare.
The whole map is a pure function of one secret seed. Its sha256 is published before the token launches, so the seed cannot be swapped later; the seed itself is released 365 days after the first march, and from that moment anyone can recompute every tile the party ever walked past.
Creator fees of $TERRA are the expedition's supplies. Half buys the day's march, a quarter buys the token back and burns it, the rest pays the cartographer and builds the treasure reserve.
$TERRA is a memecoin. It has no revenue, no promise and no floor, and you can lose everything you put into it.
